On Dan Sargent Road, over the bridge hard to the left and back to the right, follow the road up past the Quaker Meeting House. Come to a “T” intersection (side road coming in on your right – big red barn on your left). Look up and to your right - windy dog hill is the dark-gray Cape Cod style home set way back from the “T” intersection. Drive straight ahead and turn right into the driveway – and for now, you’re home!
Stop and admire the western view. The opening scene of 1994’s Jack Nicholson/Michelle Pfeiffer movie “Wolf” was shot here at sunset. What a howler! Drive down the mountain and use one of those lower gears rather than riding your brakes. At the bottom … and you’ll know when that is … keep driving straight for 3.4 miles and pass the Jerusalem Country Store on your left. Continue another 1.7 miles and turn right onto Dan Sargent Road.

Alternate Route if you’re concerned about road or auto conditions going over the Gap: Continue north on Interstate 89 and get off at exit #12 – Williston. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp and follow the directions from Canada below.
